In Valour's Continental Drift by DAN HEGARTY

Excerpt from heinekenmusic.ie on Fri 3rd June '11.

"There are 9,753 miles between Ireland and Australia, but over continents and oceans, two individuals have teamed up to make some of the most enchanting music that you're likely to hear. In Valour is Cork-based vocalist and musician Valerie, and Howard, a producer/artist who resides in Sydney, Australia. With their single ‘Into The Light’, In Valour have become one of the finds of 2011 gaining support from Radio, bloggers, magazines, and newspapers all over Ireland. Their unorthodox mix of ethereal vocals and sweeping electronics, they bridge the considerable gaps between Portishead, Clannad, and Mazzy Star.

While geography hasn't been a problem for In Valour ....... it almost became a terminal problem for Howard in April. He and a friend went hiking in the Bellinger River National Park in New South Wales, but got caught up in extreme weather conditions.........ran out of food, and were forced to survive on what ever they could find in the wild. After a three-day search and rescue operation, both men were found shaken, but unhurt.

‘On & On’ is the next In Valour track that we’ll get to hear. You’ll also have the chance to see In Valour live in The Mercantile, Dublin on June 17th, and De Barras in Clonakilty on June 29th. So far, the live shows haven’t featured Howard, but the duo has been working on a format where they can perform together without one of them having to fly the aforementioned 9,753 miles."
